The app user enters their friend’s email and confirms they already have permission for bedtime pause emails. We record this user confirmation; we do not independently verify the friend’s mailbox or send a setup email. We store the chosen name, device sessions, recipient address, permission record, dated commitments, confirmed pauses and delivery/suppression records. Amazon SES handles delivery and SNS/SQS handle delivery feedback. Mail can cross borders. We do not track email opens or clicks. Older completed operation bodies are redacted after 90 days. Permission and suppression records remain to honor opt-outs. Contact support for access or deletion; stop emails using any alert’s unsubscribe link.
